So Much to Blog About!!!

Hello, fair readers! What a lovely summer day! (Even though it rained, while I was swimming in the pool, I bonked my head twice, and a whole bunch of other stuff happened, but other than that, it was a wonderful day:) Says to self,"Way to a positive attitude, Grace." =) Anywho...
Marie Madeline Studios is hosting a lovely giveaway! Click HERE to enter! Wouldn't it be wonderful to win this fabric???
I have just of late, made a wonderful recipe for Vanilla ice tea! Although, it is not at all very healthy for you, but a tasty treat in the summer.
You start with two to three bags of Bigalow's French Vanilla Tea.

You also need vanilla extract and ice.

The secret to this recipe is you have to pour the vanilla directly onto the tea bags, so they can steep within the tea bag.
Directly on the tea bags... Pour boiling water on tea bags in glass pitcher (make sure you thoroughly heated the pitcher before pouring boiling water; if you do not and it is cold, it will break because of temperature difference). Refrigerate overnight, or pour ice into pitcher and refrigerate for a few hours.
Serve in glass over ice with agave, honey, or other sweetener to your liking. You can also pour cream into it as well since it is black tea. Enjoy!

Yesterday, Mom and I found our way back to Michelle's and I bought this huge packet of K&Company's die-heart cut outs for only like $4.99 and it was on sale!!! Look at all the paper cut outs!

Mom purchased for $.99 the K&Company labels! Are they not sweet?

Here are some of my favourites:

Reminds me of Starbucks colour wise and with the birds:)
And I had fun creating cards, I really needed to replenish my stock. Dad teases me that I could sell them for $5.00 a piece in this house (and or in a business). (It's ridiculous that cards are that much these days!) Oh, and we also went to the Lavender Festival the other day, and bags of lavender were $35 per bag. Think of all the money I have in lavender which I have homegrown in my own backyard!!! I really need to start an Etsy.
This is my favourite: Could be used for a lovely thank you card.
Finally we had a bird nest in our light in the front yard. Here is a picture of the cuteness: (Sorry it is blurry, but it's proof:)
Hope you are having a lovely day!
Lots of Love from Your Sister in Christ,

  2. Dear Denalee,
My friend has a Jane-Austen inspired blog, and her blog name is Liz Darcy. Well, my other friend Johanna's name is Jane (as in Jane Bingley from Pride and Prejudice), so I let Liz Darcy call me Georgiana (as in Mr. Darcy's sister, Elizabeth Bennett Darcy's sister-in-law). :)
So that's how it all started:)
Hope you are having a lovely day, and thank you for becoming my 70th follower!
    Your's in Christ,

  3. Georgiana,
I thought your cutouts were really beautiful! It sounds like you have been busy. It is crazy how much things like decorative cards can cost so much.

  7. Dear Rachel,
Do you know where Target is in Paso? Well, in that shopping plaza Michelle's is right next to Osh. By the way, do you have Skype? I probably would not video chat with you quite yet, but we could instant chat!
Hope you are having a lovely day! Oh, and I have one more question: Are you joining the homeschool group next year, or are you in a different group?
    Your's in Christ,
    Grace
