Handkerchiefs and Modest Fashion Week

Wow!!! I did not know that I could get so many entries for my giveaway within three days!!!
When my aunt was staying with us, she and I walked around downtown and went to a sweet, little antique shop called Reminisce. She and I had such fun walking through the rows and rows of embroidered pillow cases, doiles, signs, paper dolls, paintings, and so much more, but we could not have come out of the shope without purchasing something! Thank you so much Aunt Sue for buying these handkerchiefs for me!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!
This one is probably my favourite, however; I do adore this one (below) as well!
....So sweet and dainty....

The handkerchiefs are haning over my computer this very moment!
Modest Fashion Week over at Simple Delights is happening in three days!!!! I am so excited

And I was thinking, I am somewhat stumped on how to do my hair. I am tired of the same old ponytail and braid. I want to do something very old fashion and sweet!

Well, I found some of these websites that I thought you might enjoy:

Repunzel's Resources which I found through Miriam and Samantha. Thanks girls!!!!
I absolutely love the Bandana Braids, the buns, and much much more!!!

And on that website, I found another link which helps with braiding styles:
Dream Weaving Braids
Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely summer weather!
Love always,

  4. Hi Grace!
I just found your blog a few days ago, it's very pretty!
I love how detailed the embroidery on the handkerchiefs look, and where you placed it-- what a unique way to decorate a room.
Also, I didn't want to post this on your giveaway post, because I'm not entering so it'd probably mess up your prize drawing, but I wanted to say the prizes are very cute, and that I made a bag and flower just like that! Where did you find the pattern??

Glad to have found your blog.

    With love in Christ,
    Jessica =)

  6. Grace,

Those are some really nice hankies! I love hankies. I wish our society used them more!! lol
Here is a site for old fashioned hair styles. www.intimelyfashion.com However, they are changing servers (as I later realized!).. so, their site isn't up. Maybe they will get it up before next week. If you want, come post a comment on my blog with your email address (I won't publish it) and I can email you pics and instructions of some fun hairstyles I have done that are kind of old fashioned. :) I love doing hair, so I am always coming up with new ideas! Also, we are doing a photo shoot tomorrow for those costumes we are making (I posted about it on my blog), and we will probably be doing some neat hairstyles then, too. :) So, if you want, come comment and I will look forward to it! Not to mention possibly emailing you back and forth!

    Your sister in Christ,
    Sarah
