Blog Parties

Ultimate Blog Party 2011
{Click the above image to join...hurry only one day left!}
Yes, I have decided to join some blog parties, and who wouldn't?

Well, first of all, welcome to my little corner of the blogging world; I am so glad to have you here and hope you are blessed by your visit! I am the Keeper {writer} of this blooming garden. How wonderful! You have come to visit at one of the most beautiful times of the year...when the flowers burst with life. In this a vast garden, you may linger deeper into my garden finding an untamed section called my meadow {that you may visit here}.

Again, I extend a gracious welcome to my little, whimsical garden walk. Please sit, stay, relax, enjoy a cup of tea, and take a leisurely stroll along my garden walk!

About the Keeper of the Garden: I am a fourteen years of age young lady, recent freshman in homeschool high school, living a small town life surrounded by beautiful green oaks and wineries. I am interested in many things including history, crafts, healing herbs, music, drama & theatre, blogging, reading, writing, gardening and so much more! Seems like I am adding another pastime to my busy schedule everyday.;)
Yet most of all, I am a daughter of the Most High and a firm supporter of purity, courtship, and modesty in dress. My dear wish is that this blog be a blessing to all who stop by and an encourager to weary, young ladies on their walk on the Road Less Taken!

Liquid Sunshine @ HorseFeathers
Also I am joining Olivia's Liquid Sunshine Blog Party {I love the name} {which is ending in two days...so hurry!}.

From her prizes I really want:
{This is my favorite}

Or...

  • Favorite season, and why?
Well, right now {since everything is blooming} my favorite season would have to be...
spring
Yet I do enjoy the warm summers here and winter is always fun because of holidays and autumn is neat because 'tis my birth-day. :)
  • How would you describe your personal style?
  • Old-fashion, vintage, but classy and sophisticated. Ever since I was younger I have always had a more classy taste.
  •
  • What's one weird thing you can do? (The stranger the better!)
  • Hmm...well I can spin around until I become dizzy and then walk in a straight line. Random enough? Oh, you don't believe me??? *hmph!* :-D

  • Rain or shine?
  • Both...rainy days are so nice to bundle up, but sunny days are lovely as well.

  • Confession time... what's a flaw of yours?
  • I'm over enthusiastic at times? :)
  • Favorite music?
  • Piano music by Brian Crain
  •  Yet I am starting to like Owl City and more contemporary music or soundtracks including Love Reality by Charmaine, The Call by Regina Spektor, and more! I also like the 2009 version of Emma soundtrack...a lot!
  • Have you ever made a decision you instantly regretted? What was it?
  • Oh, yeah! Many times...the only one I can think of at the moment is this:
  • Once when I was little, I climbed under a barb-wire fence and pricked on the scalp. Why? Um...probably because I wasn't thinking, like always. :P
  • Who do you admire/look up to?
  • My parents...of course. There are a lot of bloggers here that I have a high admiration and respect for as well as role-models such as my past violin teacher, Shawna.
  • As for famous people, I very much look up to Mrs. Duggar.
  • You've just won an unlimited lifetime supply of... what?
  • Money!:P Books! 'Tis so hard to find good books!
  • If you were an animal, what would you be?
  • I don't want to be an animal!:D If I had to be, though, I would probably be...
  • a
  •  moose! :P haha! No, I would be a cat...living a luxurious life!:)
  •
  • If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do with your time?
  • Have a family reunion.
  • Meet all my dear bloggers friends.
  • Go to Europe.
  • Write letters to all of my loved ones, telling how much they meant to me.
  • Spend as much time with my family as I could.
  • You're now a gazillionaire... where do you go to spend your money?
  • Whoa! Where do I start???
  • Purchase {or build} a beautiful house here and a few estates in England, Italy, and across the most beautiful places in the USA.
  • Build a church for our pastor.
  • Probably give a lot of it away {like Oprah;)}. Would that not be fun to give things away???
  • Classical music: love it or hate it?
  • LOVE IT!!!! I'm a violinist...it's a part of my life!
  • Phobias?
  • Heights...
  • Snakes...
  • Heights...
  • Snakes...
  • Oh, I already said that; I truly must be afraid of them! I have a safe fear of heights and snakes creep me out...period! {exclamation point }
  • Hop on a plane and go live somewhere for a year... where is it, and why?
  • England or Italy. Could you have guessed that?
  • Are you an extrovert or an introvert?
  • First, let me go check what that means...
  • *looking up, reading*
  • Okay, second of all...
  • Oh, completely an extrovert! I am extremely outgoing {sometimes a little more exuberant than I should be;)}.
  • Would you/do you perform on stage?
  • Yup. Absolutely! *clearing of throat* In fact, I have just recently joined a drama group who are going to preform The Adventures of Tom Sawyer next week {really nervous} and I am the fiddler!:) But, yes, I have ever since I was younger been on stage or preformed in front of an audience at one time or another. Oh, rehearsals are in about an 1 hr. and a half, and opening night is next week. {Yikes!}

Hope you enjoyed! Usually I do not do tags or awards anymore...most of you know a lot about me, and I just do not have the time. I suppose you could call me an "award free, tag free" blog, but blog parties are another thing.

  1. I love 'The Call' by Regina Spektor too. I've never heard any of her other music though.
