a bit o' poetry as a tribute to midsummer.
there are too many photographs i haven't taken and too many memories i have yet to make.
today is the oldest i have ever been and the youngest i will ever be.
i am anticipating swing dancing over the weekend, perhaps a canoe trip, film experimenting, sewing projects for my dear friends, listening to owl city, and brainstorming a trip to OC. and so i will leave you now, m'dears, for only but a few weeks with a prompting to join my dear friend's snail mail project, keep updated on my instagram, and a wish that you have a loverly summer's day.

xx from your fellow adventurer
That's beautiful! Can't believe summer is quickly passing us by, we've only had a couple of heatwave weeks here and then it's all rain again.... Maybe you could do a poem so the rain goes away? x

E and I are my favorites, love. You are so good at making things like a simple a,b,c,d... list into a piece of artwork.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever told you that you are just too talented for words?
And can I buy you a cuppa sometime soon? We really need to chat.
Love you!
NO WAY. I have been working on something exactly like this, as a tribute to summer. ;) Your lists are always loverly, my dear, and you have outdone yourself, once again.
ReplyDeleteThis is just darling; your words are pure poetry. And August first? Can you believe it? The year is like a tide that comes in on January 1st, and slowly goes out, pulling along our hearts as the waves do sand, never to come back the same again. Ah, my. I miss Summer 2013 already.
But back to the point... this is absolutely beautiful. And your pictures; ahh. I feel as if I could step right through them into your lovely little garden world. :)
Love you bunches!! <3

p.s. I will be gone all week, not returning home until the 10th, or 11th, so I don't believe Skype will work, but once I get home, we definitely need to have a chat, and a cuppa of tea, or coffee. :) <3<3
Ah, this is lovely. Must summer end this month? None the less, we will both be busy leaving love letters and packages in mailboxes. (;
ReplyDeleteah, this is such a magical list! i love it. your blog is such a lovely spot, i am so glad i found it!
