Hello, readers!!! I am sorry I did not post this sooner! After church service this morn, my family had a brief rest home and then hurried over to a friend's house for the Superbowl.
Goooooooooooooooooooo, Packers!!! Whohooo!!! I have no idea what the rules are for football...all I know is that I wanted the Green Bay "Pickles" *gasp* did I say that? Packers {in the green uniforms} to advance the ol' pig skin towards the hoop...I mean goal!=D During the first quarter, I just declared ruefully, "I have no idea whatsoever!" :) Who did you root for? I might now like your answer...:)
Here's the outfit I wore this day {that I am still wearing right now}:
I do not really care for this picture of me...I'm hiding my glasses behind my back and my smile is....eh!
Here's what I've come up with {I have my WHOLE wardrobe set up for the week!:)}:
Dress: Target
Ballet Flats: Payless
Cute bracelet: Handmade by moi!
Rosette Headband: Sent to me by sweet Delilah over at Zepplin Xylene.
And finally, my hairstyle to-day was a dull old braid. {To-morrow I should hopefully have more pictures}. Do you have some great links to hairstyles for REALLY thick hair??? I am so bored with the dull old braid and ponytail. I like Rapunzel Resources, but that is the only hairstyle/tutorial website that I know of. If you know another good tutorial for REALLY THICK hair, I would appreciate if you gave the link to me!
Now link up your "Modest Fashion Outfit" to this post, so that I may visit it!
Off to take a steaming hot bath {with Clemintine Soap, soon-to-be Passion Flower Sea Salt Soap from Elegant Rose Boutique! Yum!}
Blessings,
GraceP.S. Ah! *scream* I have almost 150 followers! *gasp, scream* Thank you SO much!!! I cannot wait to meet some new Christian young ladies!
Aw, very cute outfit, Grace!! I love it! :)

Lovely outfit, dear friend! I look forward to seeing the rest of your outfits!

Haha, we did the exact same thing! We had church at our place, with only one other family attending. They had just left and gotten settled in their car, when the dad came back in and asked us to come over for the superbowl. Very impromptu, but I like those sorts of things every once in a while! :) Any how, I didn't really cheer for anyone. We girls mostly talked and played games while the guys watched. lol! However, My Dad is a bit Cowboys fan, so I was cheering for the Steelers just to tease him, though I didn't really care who won. :) ;) Good game, though, I guess..... lol!
ReplyDeleteAW! I love your outfit! You look so cute. I didn't know you were doing a fashion show this week! How cool! :) I would have entered, but since I am participating in Ashley's, I think I will stick with that. I can get carried away, sometimes, with these online events, so I have to limit myself. Still, I will try to keep up with yours!! :)
I got your letter, BTW. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner.. For some reason I thought I did (ha, probably dreamt is!).. any way, I did get it and will reply fairly soon. ;)
Love you! Sarah
I love the dress! But unless you didn't know, you didn't put up a linky-tool for people to post their blogs.. I'm hoping to do a post for today -- if I get pictures!

Sweet outfit! I like the picture. :) I too have really thick hair, and the ponytail does get tiring. It's SO basic! But a style that's fun (if not super creative) and pretty to wear is to pull just some hair back from each side of your face. It's very pretty. :) And easy.
ReplyDeleteWow! 151 followers! Good job, Grace, it shows that your blog appeals to young ladies! :)
Also, I just re-read your "before you comment" note (not sure what to call it. Though I'm not new here, I've gotten some blogs fairly recently and you might enjoy checking them out. I'm not sure if you have. They are Photographer at Heart, and Austenitis. http://austenitis.blogspot.com/

Lovely purple dress Grace! Ahh! You're so lucky to have nice weather where you live!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I would do your modest fashion week, but eight out of our ten family members {including me} have the flu. I've been wearing my PJ's for five days now...hehe! So I can't really enter, being sick and all.
Oh, and congrats on *151* followers!!!

PS: We don't have TV, and our family doesn't get much into football. My dad played basketball though so we do watch that!
