golden moments {a fair photoshoot}

{aka it was the greatest adventure of her life [thus far] // part iii}

{ DAY 4 } wednesday morning, the house was quiet again. johanna's older siblings had not come downstairs yet, and the younger siblings were away at horse camp. thus we passed the morning, with tea and crafts in a way as all quiet mornings should be spent.
around 2ish all of us hopped into the van, and made our way to the Orange County Fair...

we sipped on freshly squeezed lemonade and were thrilled to find a long row of old-fashioned photobooths. {I don't know why, but after having a SMASH book, I have been kind of obsessed with photobooths}. even though it was $5.00 for one strip, it was well worth cramming into the small both and posing...

the fair had a lovely education garden overflowing with rows and rows of vegetables and pretty flowers. the lighting was *SO* perfect, and so Johanna and I {with her sister in tow} decided to seize this opportunity to have a photoshoot...

^^ special thanks to Miss Savanna {or as we like to call her Savy} for taking most of these photographs.

as the shutter went *click, click* I smiled, not just because I was posing, but because each still - each photograph would be a tangible memory of this golden moment. being with people you love, laughing in the golden sunlight, and just being comfortable enough to let down your hair, is truly one of the best feelings.

the one and only ride we went on, was the chair lift, that gave us a hawk-eye, sunset view of the fair. it was lovely to be sitting between two of the sweetest girls as we "rode into the sunset." we all lingered a few hours more, browsing through the rows and rows of booths, stopping by purchase a warm gooey cinnamon roll. we returned "home" around 11:00, exhausted by the afternoon's festivities; however, I was excited to see what the next day had in store...
 {all photographs are SOOC}
