Happy New Year's!!! It is a new year and with it, exciting things coming up soon!
Paris...a city that many a girl dreams of visiting one day; I have dreamed for over half of my life of seeing the Eiffel tower and behold the gorgeous countrysides of both France and Italy. Shall ever that dream come true?
Well, in two years time...my family is taking me to Europe!!!!! I am SO excited that in 2012 I will be boarding a plane en route to Paris, France!
All right, now for the tea-inspired things on my blog. Thanks to my dear friend Johanna for telling me this in her Christmas letter, January is...
The National Month of Tea!!!
Therefore, I have decided to celebrate, by having a blog makeover, and writing up a few historical posts that I am naming them
The Years of Elegance and Etiquette.
So join me here, in my beautiful garden walk, for a tea party! What do you prefer, vanilla, chai, and with cream or sugar or both? I do suppose we shall have a delightful time, giggling under the maple trees, and smelling the sweet lavender and roses or peonies...*sigh* it will be as spring has returned to my garden once more even though the dead of winter is settled amongst us. {New Year's is a bit depressing to me, because it marks the end of the holidays, and the beginning of the monotonous winter season!:)}
And how could anyone refuse such a lovely tea table laden with rose cakes, and berry tarts? Oooo, yummy!
~Coming Events~
I thought, what a fun idea it would be,
When the first signs of spring we see,
I shall host a Narnian tea!
Well, perhaps, not a tea, but a Narnian inspired event filled with food, fashion, prizes, and more!
