Hope that everyone has had a lovely week! Now I have a lot of pictures that I took, so this will be a long post, but I do hope that you enjoy all the pictures! So sit back relax, and enjoy a tour of the Capitol's Rose Gardens and the Beautiful Architecture of the building itself.
Roes and roes of ROSES!!! I think that this is probably my favourite, but I cannot choose!!! Ooooo, this is one of the very first ones that I took, and I LOVE it!!!
Make it PINK!
And another one of my top favourites: And Purple ones too! These ones smelled delicious! Red roses, Red roses!!!
I took this one on my back! Read about this tip from a Costco magazine!!!
Now let's take a tour inside, shall we?
Inside the Senate Chamber Room; I love the chandeliers!
I think this was a cool picture: Let's take a trip downstairs, shall we?A statue....
This closeup is rather haunting, no? This is the inside of the Dome
Not blurry....
..... And blurry.... This was such a cool nearby building that I had to capture a picture at this angle. Sorry that this is blurry (I had it on macro setting), but here is an idea of how beautiful and big the rose garden was.
Well, I hope that you enjoyed our tour. And please, feel free to leave a comment telling me which picture of the roses that you liked best! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day full of spring blessings!!!!
Your Sister in Christ,
P.S. Oh, thank you so much for your prayers of safe travel and for my sister. I do not think that I can express how much they are appreciated.
I loved all the pictues, Grace!! Thank you so much for posting them. Those roses are just beautiful! Have a blessed weekend!! :-)

Oh, what lovely photographs, dearest Grace! The roses are beautiful, and the architecture of the buildings... My, they are exquisite!

Wow! Really pretty, Grace! It was snowing when we went so there weren't any of the beautiful flowers! Grace, today is the LAST day to enter my story contest! So you absolutly MUST ENTER!!!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are absolutely beautiful! My fav is the 3rd picture - that bright pink rose looks almost like a painting! I always say you have an artist's eye for photography...they are all so lovely. I enjoyed the little movie, too! =) Hope you are having a most wonderful weekend, fav sis! So glad you had a great trip!
ReplyDeleteLove,

My...they are all so beautiful! I like the first picture, the fourth picture, all the purple roses, and I really like the rose that you are holding in the one picture. All the other photos are very artistic with the angles. I went to the capital, once...it was a long time ago, though. I think I remember the elevators in the building being very fast...I was little so I'm not quite sure. Say Hello to your sister and niece for me. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Grace! The roses are gorgeous!

Dear Grace,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! You would be wonderful as a photographer for Victoria magazine or something similar.=)
That's great you and your family were able to make it to Sacramento for the Day of Prayer. And thank you for the reminder to keep your sister and niece in prayer.
I enjoyed reading your account of the trip. (I love P.F. Chang's too with their honey chicken and fun desserts.=))
We had a delightful time in Germany and Austria. Thought of you throughout our time in the violin-making museum and with all the lovely violin decor we saw all over Mittenwald. Think you would enjoy seeing these things too. I could send some pictures your way if you still have the same email address you did a couple years ago(?)
Hope this finds you well and enjoying the weekend!
Dearest Shawna,
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am surprised that you are home already! Glad to hear you had a good time. Was the Italian cuisine yummy? Oh, and I hope that Travis did not have too much of that lemon meringue pie you and Tessa made:)
Oh, yes, please; I would love to see some pictures, and yes, I do have the same email address. I wrote to you last night, so hopefully, you shall be receiving my letter soon.
Hope you are having a wonderful day! Give Travis my best!
Love you,
Grace
